Lovingly handmade from kitenge cotton in our atelier in Mtwara, Tanzania, where women are given the opportunity to learn the craft. Mama Rehema chose this print because the red and black swirls reminded her of the kanga her grandmother gave her on her wedding day. She says every gift should be useful as well as beautiful, and Zawadi is exactly that.
