This bag is lovingly handmade in our atelier in Mtwara, where women are given the opportunity to learn the craft. Mama Halima chose this print because of the palm trees she saw during her trip to the island of Pemba, where the palms gently sway in the sea breeze. The combination of natural tones symbolizes peace and growth, values woven into every stitch.
